Penelope's Game

"Penelope's Game" is a modern opera for children and teenager new written and new composed for the Musikschule Solothurn under the accurate direction of Pia Bürki, the music school master. Written by Simona Ryser and composed by swiss pianist Philipp Stampfli, who orchestrated the music together with Roman Lerch, stage director is Isabelle Freymond and orchestra conductor Iris Ewald-Tillner. The opera face the current "problem" of teenagers gaming the whole day and not interacting anymore with other people - parents, friends, classmates, professors ...

The music school's students has the possibility and the challenge to set up and to perform an opera under the guide of several teachers and tutors.
